Few have managed to navigate Miami’s cut throat club circuit as deftly as ES.P, whose repertoire includes a host of A list clients and residencies at some of the Magic City’s most exclusive nightclubs, lounges and music venues. Whether he’s spinning at the lavish Hyde Beach or laying in at Wynwood’s hipster chic Bardot, ES.P’s masterful command of the dance floor has established him as one of this generation’s most talented and music savvy up and comers.
Unafraid to take risks, ES.P’s versatility behind the decks has even placed him at the forefront of Los Angeles’s ultra elite Greystone Manor, Hyde Sunset and XIV Summer Sessions. Armed with a vast arsenal of music and a deep understanding of what characterizes a powerful set, ES.P’s ability to meet the constantly changing demands of clients, club-goers and music aficionados defines him as a true disc jockey du jour.
This passion for dance music began in the early 2000’s, when a teenaged ES.P first began exploring Miami’s burgeoning underground club scene. Several years later, the young talent had already headlined Spring Weekend Music Festival and performed with heavyweights such as Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, DJ Chuckie and DJ Irie.
In the studio as behind the decks, ES.P places minimal emphasis on genre. Anything goes, as long as it’s good and keeps the focus on the dance floor. With influences that vary from house, future bass and breaks, to hip hop, dub and classical music, ES.P is constantly crossing boundaries and experimenting with new sounds. Desiring to expand his scope of production, he founded Dude Skywalker, a project geared toward exploring more avant-garde deep house and disco influences. In less than two years, the project has already caught the ear of artists such as Midnight Magic, Goldroom, Miami Horror, Onra, Pat Mahoney and Poolside, with several releases on Nightdrive, petFood and Aspect Audio.
In addition to managing and performing as Dude Skywalker, ES.P’s current client roster includes venues and clients such as Midloft, The Broken Shaker, Lido at the Standard, Blackbird Ordinary, Marc Jacobs, Kenneth Cole, Guess, Del Toro, Peroni, Coconut Cartel, SOHO Beach House, SBE, Cottage Miami, American Social and more.
